Gem City Coffee, Inc. is excited to offer fundraising opportunities to organizations within our community. Below are the guidelines and procedures to help you determine if our fundraising program aligns with your goals.

Guidelines

Purpose: Fundraising with Gem City Coffee, Inc. is intended for goodwill and community building, not for personal financial gain.

Eligibility: All approved fundraising organizations must have either 501(c)(3) or 503(c) status or be recognized by the IRS as a charity or nonprofit. *Note: Approval is not guaranteed based on this status alone.

Examples of Eligible Fundraisers:
- Disaster relief initiatives
- Nonprofit fundraising efforts
- School fundraising for classroom supplies, sports equipment, etc.

What is the approval process?

Once your fundraiser is approved, Gem City Coffee, Inc. will provide a custom fundraising site link and a QR code for sharing and collecting orders.

How are orders collected?

You will receive a description of the available coffees and a Customer Order Form via email. The Customer Order Form is designed for your organization to capture orders and contact information.

Please note that Gem City Coffee, Inc. will not maintain any customer information after it is provided to your organization. This means the completed Customer Order Form does not need to be returned.

 Organizations may choose to use the Customer Order Form or only process orders through the link or QR code provided.

How does it work?

Coffee Options: Fundraisers offer half-pound bags of coffee, including regular, decaf, and select flavored options.

Minimum Order: There is a minimum order requirement of 20 bags per fundraiser.

Pricing:

  Cost per half-pound bag: $12

  Profit for the organization: $5.00 per bag sold

Payment: At the conclusion of the fundraiser, Gem City Coffee, Inc. will issue a check to the benefiting organization reflecting the total profits earned.

How are orders distributed?

For orders shipped to the fundraising headquarters, they will be prepared and shipped after the fundraiser concludes.

For orders shipped directly to individual addresses, they will be prepared and shipped as received.

The distribution process is determined by the benefiting organization.
